Other Wyoming petroglyphs
There are many other places all over the world that have petroglyphs and there are all different types of petroglyphs. They are categorized by the way that they are put into the rock and by what they are showing. Some petroglyphs are pecked into the face of the rock using a harder material while some are painted on to the rock surface. Other places in Wyoming that petroglyphs can be seen include Thermopolis, the Dinwoody area outside of Dubois, and the Torrey Lake Valley also located near Dubois. In these three areas the petroglyphs are pecked or carved into the rock.
